Palm Pilots
Palm reading may be
as good a method as any for determining your professional aptitude
- according to Donna McCue, author (Pocket) Business leaders, she
says, have clearly separated lines a reflection their status as
independent thinkers. Their head line often ends in a triple fork,
[top left] a symbol of their ability to juggle information quickly
when making decisions. Other professionals who weigh two sides of
an argument like lawyers and counselors, show a double fork. The
method isn't foolproof of course. "What you see in your band are
all the possibilities ahead of you. Think of a reading as a second
opinion," says McCue, whose Web site, donnamccuc.com, offers in-depth
explanations "So go for your dreams and be around the things you
long for." (McCue suggests a lawyer with an artist's palm should
represent people in the arts.) Client Deanna Brown, CEO of Internet
start-up Powerful Media, has the clear, deep, straight lines common
10 leaders. McCue calls hers a "hand of unlimited potential." How's
that for motivation? "I've had a lot of fun, though I suppose it's
like being voted most likely to succeed in high school," says Brown.
"Still, when someone looks at your hand and says you're going to
be a wild success, you tend to think, 'Yeah, I could do that.'"
